The Modern Groom Purchasing Terms and Conditions
Placing your suit order
An initial consultation is required for you to place your initial suit order with The Modern Groom. After the consultation you will receive an email invitation to our Portal which will prompt you to enter your measurements and purchase the predetermined outfit/package decided on during the consultation. After measurements are submitted and payment is made for the event creator’s order it will ship to you within 3-5 business days. All other event party member orders will ship approximately 5-6 weeks prior to the event date.
PAYMENT
Payment is required in full to purchase any items from The Modern Groom prior to shipment of these items. Your payment method will be used for purchase, non-returned items, damaged or altered items, items with tags removed or late/rush fees incurred due to late payments. Unless the event owner pays for your selected items you are responsible for all payments to The Modern Groom at least 90 days prior to the event date. Payment after this date is subject to rush/late/processing fees.
Purchase Order Deadline
Your purchase deadline date is stated in your account. The standard deadline to submit measurements and payment is 90 days prior to the event date. Measurements or payments submitted after the deadline are subject to rush processing fees/expedited shipping fees. To ensure your items are reserved for your event date you must meet the purchase order requirements. Event creators are expected to clearly communicate ordering deadlines to their invited event party members. If the deadline lapses and not all members of your party have submitted payment or measurements their order will not be shipped with the rest of the wedding party.
Shipping Expectations
The event creator’s initial order will be shipped within 3-5 business days after measurements and successful payment are submitted. All other event members’ orders will arrive approximately 5-6 weeks prior to the event date. If an event member enters measurements or payments late the order will ship late and incur additional fees for expedited order processing and shipping.
Expedited Shipping
Orders placed after the designated order deadline will be considered late and require an expedited shipping charge of $50.00.
Tailoring/Alterations
The Modern Groom will utilize the measurements you submitted to determine the correct sizing for you. Please note that our suits are not custom made, minor alterations or adjustments may be necessary. All pants arrive unhemmed with the expectation that they will be hemmed to meet the desired pant length. If garments received are too small or too large for tailoring, items will be exchanged for the correct size. The exchanged sizes will be shipped to you for no additional cost provided we are notified within 48 hours of receiving your package.
Return/Exchanging your Items
Upon receipt of your package, all members are advised to try on all items expeditiously and scan the QR code located in the lid of the box for fit and tailoring instructions. In the event that fit-related concerns arise, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your package to facilitate the necessary adjustments or exchanges.
Return Policy
In the event that any item within the Event Creator’s initial order fails to meet your satisfaction, you are entitled to return or exchange it within 30 days from the date of delivery. Any subsequent resize or replacement orders must be returned within 14 days to avoid replacement fees. The returned item(s) must remain unworn, unaltered and retain all original tags. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method, and a return label will be emailed upon request. If items are returned in unsatisfactory condition a refund will not be issued.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or your wedding registration or any individual order is permissible for a full refund until the point of order processing in preparation for shipping or until your designated order date. In the case of cancellations occurring after the order date or subsequent to the dispatch of your order, a restocking fee of $40 per order will be applied to your original method of payment.
By proceeding with your order, you acknowledge that you have read, comprehended, and accepted these purchase terms and conditions. These purchase terms are subject to potential changes by The Modern Groom without your prior notice. Continued utilization of our services constitutes your acceptance of any modifications of these terms.
