• Button the top button of the jacket only

• Leave the bottom button of the vest undone

• Button the 2nd or tightest button of shirt sleeve to keep it in place at your wrist

• Make sure the shirt sleeve is showing about ½ inch outside of jacket sleeve when your arms are relaxed at your sides

• Make sure to adjust the pants to sit about 2 inches under the belly button

• Make sure pant hem sits right on top of the shoes (no break) Or a ½ break depending on age/preference
  

• Unbutton your jacket when sitting down

• Button the bottom button of the jacket or vest!

• Have the jacket sleeves go down past your wrist (your jacket size is selected based on your height, weight, stomach and shoulder structure. Shortening sleeves is a very common alteration, beside the pant hem, for certain types of builds).

• Have you pants sit below your hip bones. Suit pants need to be worn higher than jeans or shorts (wearing them lower than your natural waistline will make them look saggy and baggy).

• Jam your hands in your pockets for photos (this sags the pants and makes the legs look baggy)
  

• Keep things in your pants pockets- phone, wallet, keys, etc!

• Have your wedding party wear 7 different types of shoes (colors and styles vary and can be an eyesore in group photos)
  
• Lift your arms up like a zombie while wearing your jacket (And once the photos are behind you, just take the jacket off and dance the night away in the vest!)

• Move around- see how you feel in your new suit.

• Make sure to adjust your pants to sit about 2 inches below your belly button.

• Make sure your pant hem sits right on top of your shoes with no break

• Don’t forget to unbutton your jacket when you sit down

• Your jacket sleeves should go down past your wrist.

• If your jacket fits everywhere else and your sleeves are too short or too long, you can shorten or lengthen the sleeves up to 2 inches.

• If you need more than 2 inches in length, you may need to exchange your jacket for a different size.

Is your jacket too wide?

• If your jacket is too wide and boxy, your jacket sides can be taken in.

Are your pants too long?

• Our pants come unhemmed with a longer amount of fabric than normal, so that you can take your pants to the tailor and get your perfect fit.

• Suit pants need to be worn higher than you would normally wear jeans or shorts. If you wear them before your natural waistline your pants will look saggy and baggy. Wear your suit pants just below your hip bones.

Are your pants too tight? Are your pants too loose?

• Even with your belt on, if your pants are too loose, or if your pants are too tight, it may be time for alterations in your waist. Pants can be taken in or let out up to 2 inches.
